U4GM Where to Find Palace of the Deceiver and Farm Belial

Повідомлення Hartmannn »

I didn't even bother hunting the Palace of the Deceiver until my stash was stacked and my build felt "done." You can only enter on Torment, so World Tier 4 is the real ticket, and the place sits up in northern Kehjistan near the Amber Sands, not far from Tarsarak. Once it's unlocked, the fast travel straight inside is a relief. If you're still tweaking gear, it's worth checking what you're missing first—sometimes a couple of upgrades from Diablo 4 Items can be the difference between a clean run and a full-on wipe.

Finding Your Feet Inside
The corridors feel simple, but the pacing isn't. You move in, tap the altar, and it's instantly serious. There's no warm-up wave that lets you settle. If you're the kind of player who likes to stand and channel, you'll notice the problem right away. Belial punishes stationary play, and the room layout doesn't give you many "safe" corners to hide in. I've seen people walk in overconfident, then get clipped by something small and lose the whole rhythm of the fight.

Belial's Real Pressure Points
Belial isn't hard because he's tanky. He's hard because he's messy. The clones show up at the worst moments, the floor effects steal your space, and the poison-plus-shadow combo can chunk you before you've read what's happening. Mobility matters more than bravado. Keep your Poison Resistance in a healthy spot, bring sustain you can rely on, and don't be shy about resetting your position. As his health drops, the tempo ramps up and your "free hits" get shorter. That's when burst damage and clean dodges start to feel like the whole plan.

The Chest That Changes the Grind
The best part is the loot system. When you beat him, you don't just pray at a fixed drop table. A reward chest spawns and lets you choose which boss loot pool you want to target, which is huge when you're chasing a specific Unique. The catch is the cost: you need Betrayer's Husks, and it takes 2 per opening. You get them from Belial's Ambush events that can pop after killing other lair bosses out in the world, so the smart loop is simple: farm those bosses, bank Husks, then cash them in at the Palace.

Keeping the Loop Going
A lot of players end up running Belial solo because it's faster—less waiting, fewer mistakes, and cleaner resets when something goes sideways. When you're in rhythm, the material flow feels great, and higher Torment tiers can pay out with better odds on the rare stuff you actually care about. Still, the fight only stays efficient if you keep feeding it, so stay on top of Helltides, Whispers, and anything else that keeps your summoning materials steady, then sprinkle in upgrades like diablo 4 runes when your build needs that last bit of push to stay comfortable.
